2005
The
2005 Cabernet Sauvignon is a complex and concentrated wine that deftly
balances intensity and finesse. The wine has a dark garnet color with a
deep purple edge, and displays aromas of blackberry jam, dark chocolate,
rose petal, black pepper and cedar. In the mouth, the attack is quite
rich, expressing notes of brown sugar and nutmeg, and the flavors
proceed seamlessly to a long finish of fruit and ripe tannins. Properly
cellared, this wine should give drinking pleasure until 2022………91 Cases

is a well-balanced wine with medium weight, beautiful texture, bright
acid, and integrated, supple tannins. The aroma is elegant, with
elements of earth, black cherry, vanilla and clove, accompanied by a
slightly meaty character. On the palate, the wine is layered with rich
fruit flavors, most notably blueberry, blackberry, and plum, and
accented by subtle notes of lavender and sage. The wine is well
structured and can be drunk up to 10 years………..309 Cases made. The 2005 Syrah exudes exotic aromas of wild
cherry, blackberry, and dried roses. After several more minutes in the
glass, additional dark fruit characters are revealed. On the palate, the
fruit is rich and succulent with bright cherry, dark chocolate, and
cassis flavors that intermingle with seamless, well integrated tannins.
The finish displays flavors that are harmonious and repeat the theme of
balance and finesse – a wine that truly begs for another sip.
The wine is lovely to drink now, and has at
least a good 10-14 years of ageing potential……131 Cases made. The Chardonnay exhibits aromas of orange
blossom, citrus zest hints of toffee. Luscious, fresh cut green melon
and spiced pear flavors are enhanced by interesting mineral components.
Brimming with vibrant acidity and freshness, this wine has incredible
complexity, moderately toasty notes of oak and a full mouth feel. This

(Sold Out From Winery) The aroma is concentrated and starts out with ripe fruit expressions of cassis and black cherry. Classic varietal characters of earth, cedar, and spice bring complexity. In the mouth, the wine reveals additional flavors of blackberry and dark chocolate richly framed with ripe mountain tannins. The structure of this wine suggests improvement over the next seven to ten years…….140 cases made.
With a beautiful dark crimson color, this wine is full of blueberry and blackberry compote aromas, with hints of mocha and char. The wine is unusually big in style for a Merlot, but has a silky mouthfeel and inviting black cherry fruit flavors. Unabashedly ripe, with lots of spice, this wine has a black tea and truffle finish. 2003 (Sold Out) Firm in texture, but remarkably graceful and harmonious, on the lighter side for a Cabernet-based wine, offering peppery blackberry and currant flavors that persist impressively on the graceful finish. Tremendous structure and intense oak flavors. Pairs well with heavy meats and pastas. Strong finish with lingered flavors of cherry and raspberries. Will age nicely up to 12 years…….79 cases made.
2002 (SoldOut) From the magnificent 2002 vintage, this wine is made from lots selected Cabernet grapes. The color is rich ruby red. Aromas of cherries, currants, cedar and anise dominate the nose, along with a hint of clove. Medium to full-bodied, this wine displays abundant cherry and currant fruit on the palate and a velvety mouth feel. Supple and polished throughout, it finishes with firm tannins. As with previous vintages, this is an extremely drinkable Cabernet Sauvignon, yet will age well for 10-15 years.
The color is light ruby red. Aromas of blackberry and cassis fill
the glass with nuances of vanilla and cedar. On the palate this wine is
deeply flavored with a hefty core of fruit. Black and red fruits appear
initially, followed by an integrated acid balance and velvety tannins.
Great depth and length provides a cellar life 8-10 years.
